Glorious weather once again brought out big crowds to the St. Stan’s Carnival in Sayreville on Saturday, June 25.
If you expected to get a parking space anywhere near the St. Stan’s fairgrounds on Friday night, you were out of luck.
Without any trace of predicted rain, the carnival got off to a glorious start with plenty of food trucks and venders, the popular beer tent, a music stage sponsored by Riverton, tons of rides and games for all ages.
The St. Stan’s Carnival will return from June 23-25, and many activities have already been announced for the event
Riverton, in conjunction with the art department of the high school, unveiled an ongoing art project on December 9, showcasing the enlarged artwork of seven borough students on its construction fence, at the entrance off Chevalier Avenue.

Riverton, the massive development on the Raritan River by the Garden State Parkway, took a step closer to becoming a reality when the borough’s planning board on Tuesday approved the first phase of the $2.5 billion project.
